Profitability, on the net?

Yes indeed folks!
Forget squeeze pages, forget hard sell. While some may actually “get rich quick” with such tactics, as a business must ask yourself if getting so dirty is worth the return.
For years, small companies have done quite well within the virtual economy.
What people are finally waking up to is that social media can make profitable companies. However, beware, your message must be tailored and not over-bearing least you become known as a spammer or con artist! All too often I see companies incorrectly using the media and then wondering why no one is buying their products.
If you want to expand into the exciting real of honest social media marketing, tread softly and carry a good message. Feel free to contact either David Lyle or Angela Render at Thunderpaw for assistance!
An article of interest:
“But hold on, green shoots really are appearing–from companies you might not expect. One of the hottest start-ups: Zynga, a creator of games that run on social networks like Facebook and MySpace (NWSA). The company is forecasting at least $100 million in annual revenues after just two years in business. Management says that Zynga has been profitable since September 2007, just two months after launching.
San Francisco-based Zynga creates games that allow players to interact with friends in their social network. These “social games” are free to play, but users pay to purchase virtual goods. Why spend real money on virtual goods? Because the virtual goods help you advance in the game more quickly.”
